From the moment when you first met to proclaiming “I do,” your love story has been building up to this day, and I make it my mission to capture the natural beauty of your wedding in real-time. Equipped with an extensive journalism background, my goal is to create natural memories in a photojournalistic style. This means that I’m more of an embedded photographer on your wedding day, hunting for natural smiles, tears of joy, and finding you and your partner lost in the moment.
Finally, weddings are supposed to be fun, right? I’m sure that by this point in the planning phase, you’re dreaming more about sipping on your signature cocktails and cutting it up on the dance floor to your carefully curated playlist rather than nailing down the nuances for your big day. I get it, and I have you covered. My goal is to not only document your wedding day but to make sure that your final photos illicit feelings of joy and fond memories rather than a stressful ordeal. To keep things stress-free, I offer simple, straightforward packages, flexible payment options, and detailed planning to make sure we get you back to those cocktails before the ice melts. My love story for photography started in high school. As a student of creative media, capturing slices of life has always been a fascinating prospect, even though I didn’t get my first camera til community college. Two degrees and an internship later, you could say that I’m hooked.
Fast forward to 2017, and I found myself transitioning to a career path that I found much more fulfilling: weddings. My time in the journalism field might have been brief, but the skills and experience I absorbed there I’m able to apply directly to your wedding day. I combine my creative eye with a particular skill of being in the right place at the right time resulting in genuine smiles, natural belly laughs, and unscripted moments that last a lifetime.
I couldn’t ask for a cooler job that puts me in touch with a wide spectrum of people and glimpse into their most important days.
